The seven convicts of the murder case of Vina and Eky Cirebon reported Aep and Dede to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. This step is referred to as one way to get a new novum.

"This activity is a series of activities that we carry out in order to find novum and new evidence," said the attorneys of the convicts, Roelly Pangabean, to reporters, Wednesday, July 10.

In fact, he emphasized, there are other steps that will be taken to find new evidence. However, there is no detail about what is meant.

So far, Roelly conveyed all efforts made to support the application for a review for the seven convicts.

They include Eka Sandi, Hadi Saputra, Supriyanto, Rivaldi, Eko, Jaya, and Sudirman.

"That's right, the series of activities that we have carried out are the estuaries that we have carried out at the PK," he said.

However, it is not certain that the time for submitting the PK will be carried out. The reason is that this matter will be discussed first with all the attorneys of the seven convicts.

Aep and Dede were reported to Bareskrim Polri. The report is registered with the number LP/B/227/VII/2024/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri, dated July 10.

In that report, Ade and Dede were suspected of violating Pasak 242 of the Criminal Code regarding the provision of false excitement under oath.

Aep and Dede were witnesses in the handling of the 2016 murder case of Vina and Eky in Cirebon. They claimed to know the series or chronology of Vina and Eky's murder.

At that time, Aep said that Vina and Eky had been stoned by a group of teenagers who were gathering near the scene.
