South Kalimantan Police Unload Cases Of Delivery Of Methamphetamine 20 Kg Of The Fredy Pratama Network, 5 Perpetrators Arrested

The Directorate of Drug Investigation of the South Kalimantan Police revealed that the shipment of 20 kilograms of methamphetamine was suspected to be from Fredy Pratama's international drug kingpin network. "We have arrested five suspects, one of whom has the initials ARE, a resident of South Kalimantan and four other people, a resident of Bandung, West Java, with the initials MRF, DH, MRM, and RSH," said the Director of Drug Investigation at the South Kalimantan Police, Kombes Kelana Jaya during the release of the case in Banjarmasin, Antara, Wednesday, July 10. Kelana explained that the disclosure of the case began with information that there would be a large supply of drugs entering South Kalimantan. Then the team led by the Head of Sub-Directorate III of the Narcotics Directorate of the South Kalimantan Police, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Ade Harri Sistiawan, conducted an investigation by digging for information and mapping the network of dealers. As a result, on Tuesday, the police arrested five suspects in two separate locations, each on Jalan Ahmad Yani Km 7, Kertak Hanyar District, Banjar Regency, with 7 kilograms of methamphetamine as evidence. Then the second location on Jalan Ahmad Yani Km 17 Gambut District, Banjar Regency, was confiscated again about 13 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine. Based on the suspect's confession to the police, they have only been in South Kalimantan for a week after traveling from East Kalimantan. Kelana said that from the characteristics of the shabu-shabu packaging wrapped in Chinese tea and the delivery route, the strong indication of drug shipments was still controlled by Fredy Pratama. "So, this goods enter Indonesia from Malaysia with the aim of Kalimantan as the market," explained Kelana accompanied by the Head of Public Relations of the South Kalimantan Police, Police Commissioner Adam Erwindi.

Now the Opsnal Sub-Directorate III team of the Narcotics Directorate of the South Kalimantan Police is still continuing to develop and investigate in the field by bringing the suspects along to show the location of the other evidence they have stored.
