KPK Reveals The Amount Of Deposit Online Judi Employees: The Most Large Is IDR 74 Million, 300 Times Transactions

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Alexander Marwata said that online gambling deposits (judols) paid by employees reached Rp74 million. However, this figure is not a transaction.

"How much is actually not large in number. Some are only Rp. 100,000, the most large is Rp. 74 million," Alexander told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, July 9.

"That's 300 transactions too," he continued.

As for the overall transaction, Alexander said, the value reached Rp. 111 million. He said this amount was not too much because he suspected that the employee was playing for free.

However, Alexander ensured that the inspectorate would move. Mainly for eight people who are still employees.

The total number of KPK employees who played online gambling reached 17 people. However, of these, eight are still working while the rest have been issued due to internal problems.

"So the Inspectorate will follow up the eight later. The leadership has ordered the Inspectorate to clarify to employees who are still KPK employees like that," he said.

Previously reported, the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) said data on employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) suspected of playing online gambling had been submitted to the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Hadi Tjahjanto as the Head of the Online Judi Eradication Task Force.

This was conveyed by the Head of PPATK Ivan Yustiavandana when confirmed about the findings of an anti-corruption commission employee who was caught playing online gambling. He said, all the available data had been submitted to the Online Judi Eradication Task Force.

"We have submitted all the data to the Head of the Task Force," Ivan told reporters quoted on Tuesday, July 9.

Ivan then said that this data would then be submitted to the institution concerned. "The head of the Task Force conveys it," he said.
