KPK Prosecutor Called Unable To Prove Illegal Flow Of Funds To Nayunda

The Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL camp stated that the Public Prosecutor (JPU) could not prove that the payment of Nayunda Nabila Nizrinah's services was sourced from illegal funds.

Nayunda is known to be a singer who had filled the event at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan).

"This cannot be proven by the public prosecutor that the flow of payment funds comes from illegal results," said SYL's attorney reading the duplicate at the trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Tuesday, July 9.

In fact, the prosecutor seemed to ignore the facts revealed in the trial regarding the source of Nayunda's payment funds.

Not only that, the SYL camp also considered the prosecutor to be very tendentious and to attack personally when it alluded to the former Minister of Agriculture's attack on Nayunda.

"This should be the public prosecutor respecting the profession of witness Nayunda who is a professional singer who is given payment based on the hard work of professional singers who are invited to appear at the Ministry of Agriculture," said SYL's attorney.

The prosecutor is known to insinuate SYL with rhymes. The former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) was asked not to claim to be a hero if he still liked the singer.

The satire was conveyed by Attorney Meyer Simanjuntak while reading the replica at the trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Monday, July 8.

Not only that, Meyer read out the second rhyme again. It contains satirical SYL who often claims to be a fighter.

"The road to Tanjung Pinang, don't forget to buy shrimp, don't admit to being a fighter. If it turns out that you are like a point point, please fill it yourself," Meyer said.

In the case of extortion and gratification, Syahrul Yasin Limpo was sentenced to 12 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 500 million, subsidiary to 6 months in prison. He was also asked to pay compensation of around Rp. 44 billion and US$ 30 thousand.
