Allegedly, Telan 12 Mextril Cough Pills, Unidentified Man Dies In The Middle Of Graveyard

TANGERANG - An unidentified man was found dead in the burial area of Tanah Gocap (Kuraburan Cina), Karawaci, Tangerang City. It is suspected that the victim died from an overdose of excessive cough medicine.

Karawaci Police Chief Kompol Antonius said the victim was found on Monday, July 8, in the afternoon. When found, around the victim's body there was evidence in the form of Mextril cough medicine, coffee and water.

The total number of Mextril drugs is 8 bags filled with 32 pills and the remaining 20 pills. It is possible that the victim has consumed 12 Mextril cough pills. That possibility (over the dose)," said Antonius when met at the location, Monday, July 8.

"(For sure) the one who determines is the doctor, yes, who states or explains," he continued.

Antonius suspects that the victim has been dead for more than a day. This was said because he saw the condition of the victim whose skin had been peeling.

However, he ensured that there were no signs of violence on the victim's body.

"If you look at the body, this is most likely me, because that might be the doctor who explained it, maybe it could be from yesterday because it was stiff and the skin was peeling off," he said.

Currently, the victim has been taken to the Tangerang District Hospital to determine the cause of death of the victim.

"The body was taken to the Tangerang Regency Hospital," he said.
