SEMARANG - The Central Java Regional Police have prepared 1,050 personnel who will be assigned as personal guards for regional head candidates at the provincial and district/city levels during the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Election.
Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi said the personal bodyguards of the regional head candidates came from each police station.
The personnel are part of the members involved in the 2024 Candi Mantab Praja Operation.
Before being assigned, he said, the National Police personnel received basic training, such as escort, guarding, patrols, and other technical capabilities.
"Basically, Polri personnel have mastered their general duties, now tactical and technical materials will be added in escort and security," he said.
