The Al-Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School supports the legal process in the case of the alleged abuse of Nurul Izzati who is running in the police so that he can reveal the cause of the death of a female student from Ende, East Nusa Tenggara, after undergoing medical treatment at dr. Raden Soedjono, Saturday (29/6).

"Pondok is very supportive of this investigation so that it can be revealed what caused the death of Santriwati Nurul Izzati," said Herman Sorengana, attorney for the Al-Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, July 4.

For another form of support, Herman ensured that the Al-Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School would provide all the needs of the police, both evidence and information in the investigation process.

"We have conveyed verbally to investigators, whatever is needed from our hut, we are ready to support and present it," he said.

Regarding the surveillance camera (CCTV) that recorded Nurul Izzati's activities leaving the boarding school to go for treatment at a hospital in East Lombok Regency on Friday (14/6), Herman confirmed that this was still stored.

"If the CCTV footage is needed, we will give it," he said.

Likewise, all CCTV footage in the boarding school area, Herman emphasized that his party is ready to provide it to the police if it becomes a necessity in case disclosure.

Herman admitted that he had seen firsthand the CCTV footage showing the deceased's activities leaving the boarding school on Friday (14/6).

"That was the deceased's return on June 14 afternoon, which was seen being picked up by his family representatives, being picked up and taken to East Lombok. A few days later the hut received news that the deceased was admitted to the hospital," he said.

In the CCTV footage, Nurul Izzati was seen last sitting on the VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah grade of Al-Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School carrying a bag walking to the pick-up vehicle.

"Not being carried, not being visited, walking alone, going out of the gate and the pick-up was seen approaching to pick up the goods and get in the car. It was recorded until the deceased opened the car door," said Herman.

For other CCTV footage, he admitted that he had not seen it. He hopes that the police will immediately go down to see and analyze the CCTV footage as a whole.

"I haven't seen any other CCTV, it's better to check directly with PPA investigators (protection of women and children), because we are not an expert in checking," he said.

Herman said that until now the boarding school had not yet found evidence of acts of violence against the deceased.

"So, so far nothing has ever been heard, no one has ever told a story, no one has ever seen any acts of violence against the deceased," he said.

If there is a violation that occurs at the boarding school, Herman ensures that the boarding school applies sanctions that educate students.

"If there is a violation in the hut, there are sanctions that are applied, but unphysical, for example, such as being told to recite the Koran, clean the toilet or yard, decorate the room, that's the type of sanction given, there is no physical (sanction)," said Herman.

Nurul Izzati died at the age of 13 after undergoing intensive medical treatment for 16 days at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) dr. Raden Soedjono, East Lombok Regency on Saturday (29/6).

Selama akhirnya meninggal di RSUD dr. Raden Soedjono, Nurul Izzati sempat berhenti menjalani perawatan medis di Klinik dr. Candra Lombok Timur dan Puskesmas Labuhan Haji, Kabupaten Lombok Timur.

Regarding the cause of the death of a female student from Ende, East Nusa Tenggara, it became one of the police's goals in handling cases originating from reports from Nurul Izzati's parents.
