Golkar Has Another Name If Ridwan Kamil Doesn't Run For The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Ace Hasan Syadzily said his party had other names alternative if Ridwan Kamil did not advance in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. Ace assessed that the names of the DPD Golkar Jakarta chairman Ahmed Zaki Iskandar and Golkar Deputy Erwin Aksa could be Anies Baswedan's opponents. "We see that there are other names, Mr. Zaki has Mr. Erwin Aksa," said Ace at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, July 4. Ace said Golkar had conveyed an alternative name for the Jakarta cagub to Gerindra. It is known that Gerindra won Ridwan Kamil as a cagub in the upcoming Jakarta Pilkada.

"Communication must often occur," said Ace. The reason Golkar has not confirmed Ridwan Kamil's progress in the Jakarta gubernatorial election is because the electability of the former governor of West Java had dropped when Anies' name appeared as a governor. Meanwhile, Ace said, Ridwan Kamil's survey is still high in West Java. "If you refer to the results of the first survey, indeed Mr. Ridwan Kamil is very strong in electability. Even 73 percent of West Java residents want Ridwan Kamil to be governor of West Java," said the chairman of the West Java Golkar DPD.
