PKS 'Pede' PDIP And PKB Meeting Support Anies, Mardani: Two Kubu Aja Let One Round

JAKARTA - PKS DPP chairman Mardani Ali Sera, is confident or confident that PDIP and PKB will strengthen to support Anies Baswedan running for the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election.

PKS, said Mardani, will try to convince the two political parties to accept Deputy Chairperson of Majlis Syuro Sohibul Iman as a candidate for deputy governor (cawagub).

"Yes, we will move closer to Mas Anies, and PKS will work hard to convince him to accept Ustad Sohibul Iman," said Mardani, Thursday, July 4.

Mardani considered it natural that PKB had not received the Anies-Sohibul Iman duet package or what the AMAN pair called it to carry in the upcoming Jakarta gubernatorial election.

However, PKS believes that the agreement will emerge if all political parties supporting Anies sit down together.

"It's natural that everyone moves and strategies. We PKS are happy and SAFE, will communicate with many parties. There will be plans to meet together. Many are interested in being safe," he claimed.

The member of Commission II of the DPR also mentioned the reason why PKS is very confident that PKB and PDIP will move closer to PKS and support Anies. According to him, all political parties are aware of winning their champion in one round of Pilkada.

"My view is like this, it's a bit difficult to see the three camps in DKI. If PKB-PDIP can do it, but the opportunity is in DKI, this DKI is 50 percent plus one. So from the start you were aware, it's already two camps so that one round," said Mardani.
