Bhayangkara Anniversary Garbage At Monas Nearly 60 Tons

JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Environmental Agency, Asep Kuswanto, revealed the amount of garbage that was cleaned up from the celebration of Bhayangkara's 78th Anniversary in the National Monument (Monas) area, Monday, July 1.

The cleaning was carried out from Monday night to Tuesday morning by 800 officers in the Monas area and 180 cleaners in the outside area of Monas.

"The total volume of waste collected in the handling of cleanliness after the 78th anniversary of Bhayangkara in the Monas field is 268 cubic meters or the equivalent of 59.95 tons," said Asep in his statement, Tuesday, July 2.

The roads around the Monas area that were cleaned after the celebration of Bhayangkara's 78th Anniversary, namely Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, and Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur.

"Counts of equipment were deployed in cleaning, ranging from street sweepers, inorganic trucks, mini dump trucks, Panther pickups, motorcycle carts, and large types," explained Asep.

Then, Jalan Juanda Raya, Jalan Majapahit, Jalan Budi Kemuliaan, Jalan Pejambon, Jalan Veteran, Jalan Kebon Sirih Jalan Around Banteng Square, and Jalan Ridwan Rais.

In Bhayangkara's 78th Anniversary this year, the National Police raised the main theme "Polri Precision Supports the Acceleration of Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation Towards Golden Indonesia".

The peak of Bhayangkara's 78th Anniversary, apart from holding commemoration and defile ceremonies, was also enlivened by people's parties featuring music performances from the capital city artists, as well as various culinary snacks that were free for the community.

The 78th Anniversary of Bhayangkara was attended by President Joko Widodo. A number of officials who were also present included Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and Wury Ma'ruf Amin, DPR Speaker Puan Maharani, DPD Chair La Nyalla Mattalitti, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, 10th Vice President Jusuf Kalla and wife, and National Police Chief General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
