Husband Of Burner Wife In Tangerang Arrested Setelaj Jalani Care For Burns

TANGERANG The police have arrested Sulissetiawan (40) for burning his wife, Suci Rahmawati on Jalan Irigasi, Cipondoh, Tangerang City. The arrest of Sulis was made after he received treatment for his burns.

"We have secured it after treatment. Now it has been taken to the (police) office," said the Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho when confirmed Tuesday, July 2.

Zain revealed that for now the perpetrator is still being investigated. For his status, continued Zain, the perpetrator has not been named a suspect because he is still investigating the person concerned.

"It's still being investigated," he said

A woman named Suci Rahmawati alias Ratna was allegedly burned by her husband with the initials S in front of her house on Jalan Irigasi, Cipondoh, Tangerang City.

Cipondoh Police Chief, Commissioner Evarmon Lubis said the action would occur on Sunday, June 30, evening.

"It was true last night. Around nine o'clock there was a domestic violence. Because the perpetrator and the victim were husband and wife," said Lubis when met in Cipondoh, Tangerang City, Monday, July 1.

Based on the examination of witnesses at the crime scene (TKP), the action was triggered by communication of misunderstandings, so that the husband was annoyed with the victim and then burned him.

Luckily, there were residents who helped by pouring water on the victim's body. After the blackout, Suci was taken to Sari Asih Hospital in Tangerang, for medical treatment.
