"Earlier at 09.12 WIB we received reports of crocodiles disturbing residents in Bandar Agung Village," said Head of the Fire Department of the South Lampung Damkarmat Service, Rully Fikriansyah in Kalianda, Antara, Tuesday, July 2.
Based on the report, his party then sent officers to confirm the presence of crocodiles and take the necessary steps.

"Residents complained that there were crocodiles along the length of approximately five meters, the crocodiles were troubling the local community, so residents contacted Damkarmat and then worked together to catch the crocodile using snares," said Rully Fikriansyah.
The crocodile evacuation lasted not long, it only took one hour. With the help of local residents, he said, the crocodile was immediately evacuated and taken to the Damkar post to be handed over directly to the Lampung Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA) and returned to a place far from residential areas.
"After carrying out the evacuation, we will hand over the crocodile to the BKSDA to be released into a place far from residential areas," said Rully Fikriansyah.
