The Attorney General's Office Will Immediately Complete Case Files For The Remaining Tin Corruption Suspects, Including Harvey Moeis

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) plans to complete the filing process for the remaining suspects in the alleged corruption case in the tin commodity trading system for the mining business permit (IUP) of PT Timah Tbk this month.

That way, the suspects, including Harvey Moeis and Helena Lim, could soon be transferred to trial at the trial stage.

"We hope so because we continue to encourage investigators so that as soon as possible the completion of the files can be completed and transferred to the public prosecutor," said Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar, to VOI, Monday, July 1.

Currently, the investigative team is said to be still perfecting the case files for 9 suspects. They include Harvey Moeis, Helena Lim, Arwin Akbar, Hendry Lie, and Fandy Lie.

Then, the suspects are Suranto Wibowo, Rusbani, Amir Syahbana, and Bambang Gatot Ariyono.

Harli conveyed that the investigative team was committed to completing the preparation of the case files for the suspects this month.

However, technically it is not certain which case files of the suspect will be completed first.

"Now there are 9 left, so investigators are committed to resolving it this month. We'll just have to see which one," said Harli.

It is known that the AGO has transferred 12 suspects to the South Jakarta District Attorney. The delegation was carried out on two occasions.

First, the two suspects were transferred on June 4, 2024. Then, followed by 10 other suspects on June 13, 2024.
