Mediated By Bawaslu, KPU Gives The Opportunity For Independent DKI Cagub-Cawagub To Improve Support Requirements After Declaring Not Fulfilling The Requirements

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) facilitates mediation or deliberation between the prospective Governor-Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta on an independent route, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana and the DKI Jakarta KPU. This deliberation was carried out following up on the Dharma-Kun pair reporting the DKI KPU to the DKI Bawaslu after being declared ineligible in the administrative verification of individual lane support. "This afternoon, the leadership of the DKI Jakarta Bawaslu has read out the verdict of the agreement of the parties at an open session. The parties will follow up and comply with the agreement," said DKI Jakarta Bawaslu member Benny Sabdo in a short message, Friday, June 28. The results of the deliberation on Thursday, June 27, the DKI Jakarta KPU will provide Dharma-Kun with additional time to improve data on hundreds of supporting identities which are requirements for independent cagub-cawagub. "The DKI KPU has agreed to provide an opportunity for the Petitioner to upload data that has the status of not meeting the requirements (BMS) at the initial administrative verification stage," said Benny. It was recorded that as much as 505,924 residents' ID cards support was declared by BMS. The KPU also gave Dharma-Kun 1x24 hours starting since the issuance of the notification letter for the opening of Silon access. Previously, Dharma-Kun submitted a request for a process dispute to Bawaslu because it was declared ineligible to register as a cagub-cawagub of DKI Jakarta on an independent route. The KPU decision that stipulates Dharma-Kun does not meet the requirements is based on the results of administrative verification to improve supporting data in the Candidate Information System (Silon) which is filled online by prospective candidate pairs. At that stage, the KPU checked the validity and veracity of the supporting requirements documents, both statements of support, electronic ID cards, the suitability of the data inputted in Silon as well as identity statements for supporters who on electronic ID cards have occupation status as members of the TNI, Polri, ASN, village officials and ages are not yet 17 years old but have already married. Meanwhile, Kun Wardana emphasized that the residents' ID cards support requirements for him and Dharma were not fulfilled because the amount of support had not been achieved. The Dharma-Kun team had difficulty entering and editing support data filling into the KPU's Silon application. "There are three things that are our obstacles. The first is the constraint in the Silon application itself, the second is downtime from the Silon server, and the third is time because the data count is so large," explained Kun.

"So in this Silon application, we suffered a loss of time in upload. Because there is no button in uploading data, updating data, or adding data, for quite a long time," he added.
