KUDUS - The Kudus State Islamic Institute (IAIN) website was hacked by online gambling sites. The hacker hackers who hacked the website asked for a number of ransoms to help recover. However, it is not uncommon for only those who ask for certificate recognition.

The IAIN Kudus classroom website, which was originally used for student lectures, turned into an online gambling site with the words 'TOTO: Trusted Bandar Togel'.

In response to this, IAIN Kudus admitted that he had made various efforts to prevent hacking by irresponsible people.

"We installed crowns to mitigate which sub-domains were attacked, then we cleaned them by system with orders that we had planted in the application," said IAIN Kudus Head of Information and Data Base Technology (TIPD) Slamet Siswanto, Wednesday, June 26.

Slamet Siswanto admits that hackers with online gambling sites have recently been rampant attacking the official websites of a number of universities. Not only in Kudus IAIN, together with a team of experts in the State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN) network, others often make meetings to prevent disturbing online gambling hacks.

"Since the rise of online gambling, the attack can indeed be said every day and as is the case in the current government, which asks for our ransom several times to accept it," he explained.

Usually, he said, hacker hackers who hack the website ask for a certain amount of ransom to help recover. However, it is not uncommon for only those who ask for certificate recognition.

"If we search deeper, the log files stored on our servers can be up to a few giga in size, so that's what causes the server to go down," he said.
