Anies Gives Assistance To Places Of Worship, The Program Is Called BOTI

JAKARTA - The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan provided financial assistance for all worship places. This program is called the operational assistance for places of worship (BOTI).

This was conveyed by Anies during the inauguration of the Regional Board of the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) of DKI Jakarta Province for the Khidmat 2020-2025 Period. The entire board was directly inaugurated by the Chairman of DMI and former Vice President Jusuf Kalla.

"In the BOTI program, the value is IDR 2 million per month for large (places of worship) such as mosques and IDR 1 million for small ones such as prayer rooms", said Anies at the City Hall of DKI, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 17.

In addition, said Anies, religious workers also received the assistance of IDR 500 thousand. He hopes that this assistance can support the continuity of various religious activities in the city.

"We want everyone to feel a sense of equality in religious activities in Jakarta", said Anies.

For this program, Jusuf Kalla (JK) would like to thank Anies for providing financial assistance to houses of worship.

JK said that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government annually disbursed IDR 100 billion to help manage the mosque and its imams and mosque workers to facilitate the operation of these places of worship.

"Thank you to the Governor of DKI Jakarta, because the DKI Regional Government has provided the most assistance for managing mosques in Indonesia in a provincial manner", said JK.

JK advised that mosques in the future will face more challenges. So that the mosque and its management must participate in making solutions, including environmental problems.

"We must prosper the mosque, but more importantly we prosper the people. I thank you for the assistance in participating and building mosques in DKI Jakarta", he concluded.
