PKS Claims To Have Communication To NasDem And PKB About The Anies-Sohibul Iman Duet

Secretary General of PKS Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi claimed that he had spoken to PKB and NasDem regarding the Anies Baswedan-Sohibul Iman (AMAN) pair for the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. Although Anies was not present at the announcement of the SAFE duet by PKS yesterday. "It is impossible for a statement to occur without any dialogue. There has been deep communication, all of them have been discussed with NasDem to PKB. Only about the deal is another matter later," said Aboe at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 26. Aboe believes that the announcement of candidate pairs from PKS that have been kicked will not limit the rights of coalition political parties. According to him, communication is still wide open. "No one has blocked it. Later all communication will still be open," he said. Regarding the approval of other political parties for AMAN couples, especially PKB which has expressed support for Anies, Aboe is reluctant to comment further. According to him, the Jakarta Pilkada is still very dynamic. "We'll see. But for the time being, Anies-Sohibul Iman has developed," he concluded. Meanwhile, Anies Baswedan has responded to the decision of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) which brought him to the 2024 Pilkada in Jakarta and paired with the Deputy Chairperson of the PKS Syuro Council Sohibul Iman. Anies appreciated the political stance of PKS which still supports him as a candidate for Governor of DKI Jakarta in the second period, after previously carrying out the 2024 presidential election. The former governor of DKI Jakarta hopes that other political parties can join forces to form a coalition to carry him in the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election with PKS and PKB. "Alhamdulillah, after PKB and PKS, God willing, there will be other parties willing to fight together to return Jakarta to a city that is advanced, happy for its citizens," said Anies on the Aniesbaswedan Instagram account, Wednesday, June 26. Saat PKS mengumumkan usungannya, Anies tengah berada di Spanyol bersama keluarga. Saat kembali ke Tanah Air nanti, Anies mengaku akan langjng bertemu elite PKS untuk memantapkan pencalonan di Pilkada 2024.
