President Jokowi Reminds The Importance Of Smooth Government Transition

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo reminded the importance of ensuring a smooth transition to government going forward, in order to maintain national political stability, and create a good image in the international community.

This was conveyed by the President in his introduction to the Plenary Cabinet Session regarding the Latest Economy at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, June 24.

"In particular, what must be our concern, namely political stability, this is important so that there is no political turbulence, so that the transition from the current government to the government is smooth and good. That is what the international community has always seen," said President Jokowi as quoted by ANTARA.

The Head of State also conveyed that the ranks of ministries and institutions should be careful about issues that develop every day.

The President emphasized the importance of conveying good issues so that the market becomes confident and optimistic about Indonesia's economic fundamentals, which are actually in a good position.

Jokowi gave an example in the midst of increasing world inflation and depreciating exchange rates to suppress the economy of all countries, Indonesia's competitiveness in 2024 could increase significantly.
