Jakarta's 497th Anniversary, TransJakarta Tariff Is Only IDR 1 Today And Tomorrow

JAKARTA - PT Transport Jakarta (TransJakarta) has imposed a tariff of IDR 1 to enliven the 497th Anniversary of Jakarta City on June 22-23 2024. "For two days from June 22, 2024 to June 23, 2024, the tariff for TransJakarta services is only IDR 1," said TransJakarta President Director Welfizon Yuza quoting Antara.

This promo coincides with the 497th Anniversary of Jakarta City with the theme "Jakarta Global City with Million Charms". The implementation of this special tariff is based on the Decree of the Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Service No. e-0051 of 2024 regarding TransJakarta services for BRT, feeder transportation services to integration services. Then, Microtrans services, TransJakarta Cares, other Jakarta transportation assignment services and free services for certain communities according to Governor Regulation No. 133 of 2018 which already has a tariff of IDR 0 also remains valid.

Welfizon said that his party prepared TransJakarta buses to accommodate people who use TransJakarta services for mobility and activities.

In addition, TransJakarta also added hours of TransJakarta services, especially for the celebration of the 497th Anniversary of Jakarta which was held at Monas, Jakarta on Saturday (22/6) night. "With the Rp1 tariff program, people will reduce the use of private vehicles and switch to using public transportation, especially TransJakarta," said Welfizon. The public can use TransJakarta services Rp1 to enjoy various Jakarta Anniversary celebrations such as Jakarnaval in the Monas Area, Jakarta Light Festival in the Old City to the Jakarta International Marathon 2024. TransJakarta operates 24 hours in 14 corridors and four Microtrans routes. Customers can access using electronic money cards (KUE).
