Minister Of Religion Hope Saudi Arabia Immediately Provides Solutions To Overcome Density In Mina

MAKAH - Minister of Religion (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas hopes that the Ministry of Hajj of Saudi Arabia will soon provide a solution in overcoming the density in Mina for the implementation of the pilgrimage next year.

"On the occasion of meeting the Minister of Hajj of Saudi Arabia, Tawfiq bin Fauzan Al-Rabiah, always tell whether Mina's density cannot have a solution," said Minister of Religion Yaqut in Makkah as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, June 20.

Minister of Religion Yaqut said Mina's area is indeed very limited and it is impossible to be enlarged. Meanwhile, the number of pilgrims continues to grow. Moreover, all Hajj participants arrived in Mina after the match at Muzdalifah.

The large number of worshipers who cannot be balanced with the capacity in Mina makes the congregation have to jostle in a tent. This makes Indonesian pilgrims have to be willing to remain silent in the aisle at certain times.

This condition is also one of the highlights of the DPR's Hajj supervisory team. However, the management of tents in each maktab is the authority of the Saudi authorities through Mashariq.

"Perhaps the solution is to accommodate more worshipers such as double decks. Expanding Mina is impossible. If the space is fixed, but the congregation continues to grow, there will definitely be a density," said Minister of Religion Yaqut.

According to Minister of Religion Yaqut, the problem of density in Mina does not only occur for Indonesian pilgrims. Other pilgrims from all over the world experience the same thing, especially congregants who have a large quota.

He believes the Saudi Minister of Hajj has a solution, but it is still being investigated to comply with the provisions.

"Hopefully there will be a solution in Mina. Mina's condition is always conveyed to the congregation. (If) building a graded Mina, there will be a safety effect if it is made in stages, there will be safety effects, so the main consideration," said Minister of Religion Yaqut.
