Defense Minister Prabowo Receives Honorary Signs For The Main Bhayangkara Star Of The National Police

JAKARTA - Minister of Defense (Menhan) and president-elect Prabowo Subianto received the honorary sign of the Bhayangkara Utama Star from the Police.

Assistant Chief of Police for HR Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo said the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama Polri award was a form of appreciation for cooperation in securing the Republic of Indonesia.

"Today the National Police Chief gave awards to Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto Bintang Bhayangkara Utama Polri. This is an award given for reciprocal relations and cooperation in an effort to improve the security of the Republic of Indonesia," said Dedi in his statement, Thursday, June 20.

In addition, the gift of Bintang Bhayangkara Utama to Prabowo was because the Minister of Defense had great services for the progress and development of the National Police institution.

On various occasions Prabowo Subianto continued to remind the roles and functions of the TNI together with the National Police which are very important to the people and also to the state.

Prabowo also conveyed support for strengthening the National Police when he was a speaker at the national dialogue at the Staff School and Leadership of the National Police Education and Training Institute (Sespim Lemdiklat), Lembang, West Bandung Regency, West Java.

"At that time, Defense Minister Prabowo emphasized that the TNI and Polri were the last guarantees of the Republic of Indonesia. For this reason, the people need a strong TNI-Polri with the quality of strong and superior human resources," said Dedi.

The Bintang Bhayangkara Utama Award is a sign of honor given by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to honor the services of someone advancing and developing the Indonesian National Police.

In the Regulation of the National Police Chief Number 4 of 2012, it is stated that there are three honorary signs of Bhayangkara Stars, namely Main Bhayangkara Stars, Bhayangkara Pratama Stars, and Bhayangkara Nararya Stars. The highest class Bhayangkara Star, followed by Bhayangkara Pratama and Bhayangkara Nararya.
