Lebanese Leader Hezbollah Warns Of Unbounded War: There Is No Safe Place In Israel

JAKARTA - Lebanese Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned his group would fight "without rules" and "without limits" if a broader war with Israel broke out, and no place in Israel would be safe from the attack.

In a televised address, Nasrallah said it included a possible target in the Mediterranean Sea, reported by Reuters, Wednesday, June 19.

Nasmillah also threatened Cyprus for the first time, saying Hezbollah could consider it a "part of the war" if they continued to allow Israel to use its airports and bases for military exercises.

As previously reported, Israel is ready for an all-out war in Lebanon. The Israeli military said its Northern Command on Israel's northern border was ready with plans for a ground attack on Lebanon.

The news from Israel's foreign and military ministers was delivered on Tuesday, June 18 evening following Hezbollah releasing footage of drones deemed to threaten Israel's stability.

Citing Al Jazeera, this increasing tension contradicts the United States (US)' efforts to prevent escalation amid low-level hostilities on the Israel-Lebanon border for months.

The footage of the Hezbollah drone depicts the Chinese port city of Haifa during the day.

The nine-minute video shows civilian and military areas, including malls and settlements, in addition to weapons manufacturing complexes and missile defense batteries.

Israeli Foreign Minister, Israel Katz responded strongly to the drone footage. He said Hezbollah Leader Hassan Nasrallah had boasted about filming the port of Haifa, operated by foreign companies from China and India.

"We are very close to the moment of decision-making to change the rules against Hezbollah and Lebanon. In an all-out war, Hezbollah will be destroyed and Lebanon will be severely affected," Katz tweeted on his X social media account.
