US And British Troops Carried Out Airstrikes In West Yemen

JAKARTA - United States and British troops launched airstrikes on the Raymah region in western Yemen, the Houthis said.

The Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah TV channel reported that the American-UK aggressive aircraft launched four attacks on the government complex in the al-Gabin district in Raymah province.

Reported by ANTARA from Anadolu, Wednesday, June 19, the broadcaster did not immediately provide further details on the impact of the US-UK bombing.

Earlier, on June 13, the group announced two American-UK airstrikes had attacked the Raymah government complex that killed two people and injured nine others.

The Houthis have targeted cargo ships in the Red Sea owned or operated by Israeli companies or transporting goods to and from Israel in solidarity with Gaza, which has been under intense Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023.

As tensions escalated as the US and Britain carried out joint airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen, the group declared all American and British ships legitimate targets.

Meanwhile, a US-led coalition has carried out periodic airstrikes since January 12 targeting the Houthis' location in parts of Yemen in response to attacks in the Red Sea.

US responses are sometimes responded with a response response from the group.
