Visitors' Shouts Accompany Activists Spraying Orange Paint At British Stonehenge Prehistoric Stone

JAKARTA - The sunny weather that is felt when tourists enjoy the remains of prehistoric times must change drastically in the Stonehenge area on Wednesday, June 19.

How could it not, two activists who approached suddenly immediately sprayed orange paint on prehistoric rock in England.

Rajan Naidu, 73, and Niamh Lynch, 21, ran into Stonehenge's stone circle carrying a tube like spray paint and then coloring the prehistoric object.

However, the environmental activist 'Just Stop Oil' action was not very smooth. Instantly when the paint was sprayed, many visitors shouted to prevent their actions.

A number of visitors and even women tried to grab a spray paint cylinder which was then successfully secured by male visitors who helped prevent their actions from coloring the entire Stonehenge.

Quoting Metro.co.uk, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak immediately condemned the protest. He called the two activists a despicable act of vandalism.

Meanwhile, the representative of Just Stop Oil, Ms Lynch, who is also a student from Oxford, said the protests were a form of call to end the fossil fuel era.

Just Stop Oil assesses exploitation to the continued use of oil, coal, and gas causes death and suffering. They want the public to think about what is left for future civilization.
