The REuters, RESQSHIP, which operates a migrant rescue ship called Nadir, said on social media platform X they found 61 people aboard a water-filled wooden boat, with 10 people dead trapped on the bottom deck.

The charity said two of those who survived were unconscious and received medical treatment.
