2 Prisoners Who Escaped By Breaking Into Cells Hunted By Central Lombok Police

PRAYA - Central Lombok Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, coordinated with neighboring police to search for two detainees who escaped from the detention cell of the Southwest Praya Police. "Please pray, hopefully they can be arrested again," said Central Lombok Deputy Chief of Police, Kompol Nasrullah in Praya, Antara, Thursday, June 13. He said his party had coordinated with the Resort Police and Polsek in the NTB Regional Police to find the whereabouts or hiding places of the two detainees. "We are currently searching," he said. The two detainees who escaped were arrested during the Rinjani 2024 operation who secured 19 suspects from 17 cases, both theft, stealing and stealing cases or 3C cases. "The two prisoners who escaped were involved in the 3C case," he said. Previously, two detainees in the theft case with weight (Curah) at the Praya Barat Daya Police, Central Lombok Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) reportedly fled or fled, Tuesday (11/06) early in the morning. Two detainees with the initials AW, a resident of Praya Barat Daya District and BM, a resident of Sekotong District, escaped by breaking the lock on the detention cell. The Head of Public Relations of the Central Lombok Police, Iptu Lalu Brata, who was confirmed to confirm the escaped prisoner. "Members are conducting a search," he said. He said that when the members checked it at 02.00 WITA, the detainee was still there. However, when checked in the morning, it was no longer in detention. "They escaped by breaking the lock of the detention cell," he said.

He appealed to detainees who escaped to immediately return to surrender and it was hoped that people who saw the whereabouts of the detainees could report to the nearest apparatus.
