PKB DKI Officially Supports Anies As Cagub Jakarta In The 2024 Pilkada

JAKARTA - The Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the DKI Jakarta National Awakening Party (PKB) expressed support for Anies Baswedan to be promoted as a candidate for Governor of DKI Jakarta 2024. This was conveyed by the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PKB DPW, Hasbiallah Ilyas, who read out the declaration of support to the former Governor of DKI Jakarta. "The DKI Jakarta PKB has decided that Anies Baswedan will become the sole candidate to nominate in the 2024-2029 Pilkada," said Hasbi at the DKI Jakarta PKB DPW Office, Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta, Wednesday, June 12. Hasbi said that previously there were a number of names who registered as candidates for the Governor of DKI Jakarta to PKB. However, PKB DKI decided to carry Anies after the DKI Jakarta regional election desk work meeting last weekend. Anies had previously registered himself as a candidate for Governor of DKI to PKB and took part in the fit and proper test selected by the PKB Pilkada Decree The chairman of the PKB faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD explained the reason for his support for Anies even though previously PKB had revealed the name of one of its cadres, Ida Fauziyah, to be prepared as a candidate for Governor of DKI. "We have to be realistic. PKB has conducted a survey, who understands that Jakarta is Anies Baswedan," he said.

The plan is that, Thursday, June 13, Anies will visit the DKI Jakarta PKB DPW office to strengthen its support in the DKI Pilkada. "Tomorrow we will give it to Mr. Anies Baswedan to work downstairs, go down to the community to socialize that he is nominating the governor from PKB," explained Hasbi.
