Saudi Arabia Prepares To Serve Hajj Candidates For Worship Throwing Jamrah

The Directorate General of Civil Defense of Saudi Arabia said it was preparing to accept pilgrims in the Hajj season 1445 Hijri season, at the Jemarat Bridge and its surroundings.

The preparations made are also related to services for pilgrims who will throw masks (kerikil).

The directorate stressed the readiness of its units, which are placed in a number of corridors, surrounding pages, and main entrances guarded by fully equipped personnel.

In addition, his party carried out technical preparations to carry out general emergency plans for Hajj and handle all risks, through cooperation with other relevant institutions.

The government of Saudi Arabia is determined to provide intensive security by alerting officers in the field to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims from various countries during the Hajj season in 1445 Hijri/2024 AD.

Previously, the Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee Lieutenant General Mohammad bin Abdullah al-Bassami emphasized that security officers were ready to face disturbances in security or order by preventing various actions that could potentially disrupt the security and safety of pilgrims.

His party also intensified patrols, both to monitor the smooth running of traffic, security, and law enforcement at the entrances to Makkah City, holy places, as well as routes to the area.

Meanwhile, the Commander of the State Security Special Emergency Forces Major General Muhammad bin Maqbool Al-Omari added that apart from the security forces, special emergency forces were also deployed and deployed in holy places in the city of Medina and Makkah.

Special emergency forces, he said, are one of the units of security forces deployed whenever necessary to provide security in both the Prophet's Mosque and the Grand Mosque.
