Ceremony August 17 At IKN, Heritage Flag Will Be Forecasted From Monas

JAKARTA - Head of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) Yudian Wahyudi said the Red and White heirloom flag would be estimated from the Jakarta National Monument (Monas) to the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) in East Kalimantan (Kaltim) on the commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

After attending a limited meeting (ratas) with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Monday, June 10, Yudian said the procession was still being discussed.

"Earlier, the inspection scheme was carried out, I could be wrong, but what I understand (flagged) from here was brought to IKN. So it looks like it's going through the plane too. So it's like being mistaken to keep getting off and going again," said Yudian when giving a press statement at the Presidential Palace. Jakarta, Monday 10 June, confiscated by Antara.

Yudian explained that the procession was carried out using an airplane from Monas.

After arriving at IKN, the procession of the heirloom flag will continue to the ceremonial field at the IKN State Palace, East Kalimantan.

When asked about the carnival to the airport, Yudian stated that his party had prepared for it. "Yes, yes (ready)," he said.

On the previous occasion, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy said the implementation of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony on August 17, 2024 was held in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, and at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.

"Yes, some are in IKN, some are here," said Muhadjir Effendy at the Jakarta Presidential Palace Complex, Monday, after attending a limited meeting related to the 79th Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony.
