JAKARTA - Former Governor and Deputy Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa-Emil Dardak has been officially promoted by the Gerindra Party to run again in the East Java gubernatorial election.

Khofifah expressed her gratitude to the General Chairperson and Chair of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees, Prabowo Subianto and his staff after receiving a letter of decision (SK) for support in Kertanegara, South Jakarta, this afternoon.

Khofifah ensured that she and Emil Dardak would work hard to win the East Java Regional Election again which will be held in November.

"We thank you that trust, mandate have been entrusted to us, Mas Emil Dardak and I, God willing, we are ready to work hard," said Khofifah during a press conference in Kertanegara, Kebayoran Baru, Friday, June 7.

"And hopefully, in line with God's orders we can win the East Java election process in 2024," he continued.
