BINTAN - Bintan Police, Riau Islands Police (Kepri), examined the former Acting Mayor of Tanjungpinang Hasan as a suspect in the alleged case of forgery of land certificates. "Yes. Hasan was questioned today," said Head of Public Relations of the Bintan Police, Iptu calmsu Alson, to ANTARA, in Bintan, Friday, June 7. Hasan accompanied by Attorney Hendi Devitra arrived at the Bintan Police Headquarters at around 10.40 WIB. He then headed to the Bintan Police Satreskrim office room to undergo an examination by the police investigation team. Iptu Alson has not been able to confirm whether Hasan's status will be immediately detained or not after the examination is complete. "Wait for the inspection to be completed, then we will know the results," said Alson. Meanwhile, Hasan stated that he was ready to undergo a police investigation. He also admitted that he was used to giving information to investigators when he was still active as a village head and sub-district head in the Bintan Regency area. "As a good citizen, I obey and obey the applicable legal process," Hasan said. On April 19, 2024, the Bintan Police officially named Hasan as a suspect in the alleged forgery of land certificates belonging to PT Expipindo covering an area of 2.6 hectares in Sei Lekop Village, East Bintan District, Bintan Regency. Apart from Hasan, the police also named two other suspects, namely Ridwan and Budiman. Unlike Hasan, the two suspects Ridwan and Budiman have already been detained by the Bintan Police Satreskrim investigators.

Even the case files of the two suspects had been transferred by the Police to the Bintan District Attorney's Office, but recently the files were returned by the prosecutor on the grounds that they were incomplete.
