East Java Police arrested a man with the initials AAS (34), the perpetrator of making immoral video pages for minors operating since 2020 with a profit of IDR 1 billion.
"The perpetrator spread pornographic content through the self-made website (laman). There were as many as 280 websites of pornographic content for minors," said Director of Criminal Investigation at the East Java Police, Kombes Lutfie Sulistiwan when releasing the case at the East Java Police Headquarters, Surabaya, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, June 6.
Lutfie explained that the perpetrator of AASyang from Malang, East Java, benefited from an advertisement per thousand clicks of 0.7 US dollars. This profit was obtained from a total statistic of 140 million people with more than 5 billion visitors towebsites.
"From the examination, the profit was around 6,000 US dollars or around Rp. 96 million per month," said Lutfie.

For his actions, the perpetrator of AAS was charged with Article 45 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 27 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 11 Year 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE), as well as Article 29 in conjunction with Article 4 of Law Number 44 Year 2008 concerning Pornography.
"The threat is a sentence of 12 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 6 billion," he said.
