JAKARTA - Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had not approved Indonesia's proposal to carry out a ceasefire in his war with Russia.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I have just reported the results of my two-day meetings in Singapore. I met with various figures, defense ministers from several countries. I also met with President Zelensky, I reported to the President," Prabowo said in a statement quoted by ANTARA.
Prabowo said at a meeting with Zelensky he was trying to convince Zelensky, by offering good Indonesian services to help push towards the ceasefire.
"He still doesn't agree with our proposals, but we will continue to try," Prabowo explained.

He said many countries felt the Peace Summit should be attended by all elements, in this case Russia and Ukraine.
