PAN Proposes The Kaesang-Zita Anjani Duet In The DKI Gubernatorial Election, PSI Still Sells Mahal

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PSI Regional Election Decree Justin Adrian responded to PAN's proposal to pair PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep and PAN DPP Chair Zita Anjani in the 2024 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election. Justin said that his party still sees figures from other parties that have the potential to be promoted by PSI. So, his party has not yet accepted the daughter of the General Chairperson of PAN Zulkifli Hasan to be paired with President Jokowi's son. "I think Mbak Zita has many alternatives. All parties are still waiting to see who is issued by which party," Justin told reporters, Wednesday, June 5. Now, PSI is opening communication with a number of political parties (political parties) that have passed the 2024 DKI Jakarta DPRD legislative election to discuss coalition opportunities. Bearing in mind, there is not a single political party that meets the number of seats or votes in the legislative elections of the DKI DPRD to be able to carry the pairs of candidates for governor and deputy governor of DKI alone. "We communicated with PAN, Gerindra, Democrats, and even PKB. However, there has been no final result yet, yes. We are also at the Jakarta level only limited to providing recommendations to the central government (DPP PSI)," explained Justin. Moreover, according to him, Kaesang does not necessarily decide to run in the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election. Thus, PSI DKI Jakarta is still opening the selection of prospective governors and deputy governors to be selected until the end of July before issuing a suspension recommendation. "There is something we are considering from those who register, there may also be communication behind. Mas Kaesang doesn't necessarily want to go forward either, does he? Everything is still dynamic," he explained. Previously, the Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta PAN DPW, Eko Patrio, assessed that Kaesang and Zita were very suitable for the duet in the upcoming Jakarta gubernatorial election. Because both of them come from young people.

"If yesterday there was Eko, there was Bima, there was Pasha, there was Zita, now we have immediately been narrowed to Zita Anjani. He is also the chairman of the council in DKI Jakarta. And about the problem of concentration in education, for me to match. Especially if for example Zita and Kaesang, they are both young," said Eko.
