The West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested two fraudsters by exchanging change for Fried Chicken employees in the Palmerah area, West Jakarta.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of West Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Andri Kurniawan confirmed the arrest.

"Two perpetrators with the initials PH and AA alias Okem have been arrested. Investigators are still investigating," said AKBP Andri when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, June 4.

Until now, the two perpetrators are still under intensive investigation. The actions of the two perpetrators were also caught on CCTV cameras and went viral on social media. In the video circulating, it appears that 2 perpetrators are riding together.

One perpetrator came down and handed him a black plastic bag containing coins. At that time, the perpetrator forced to exchange the change for a sheet of Rp. 2.5 million.

However, when checked, the plastic bag only contained Rp. 400 thousand. The victim also made a report to the West Jakarta Metro Police.
