The Head of the West Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office (Kajati) Asnawi ordered all leaders of the District Attorney's Office (Kejari) in West Sumatra to implement a simple lifestyle. Asnawi said this when inaugurating and handing over the positions of six heads of the District Attorney's Office (Kejari) within the West Sumatra Prosecutor's Office, in Padang, Monday, June 3. "In addition to enforcing the law in their respective regions, the heads of the District Attorney's Office also continue to apply a simple lifestyle," said Asnawi at the age of the inauguration, confiscated by Antara. He said the order was in accordance with the orders of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia as stated in the Instruction of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2020 concerning the application of a simple lifestyle. Referring to the regulation, said Asnawi, there are several things that must be considered, namely avoiding a consumptive lifestyle in the community. "The leadership of the Kejari and his staff should not buy, use or show off luxury items in order to avoid gaps and social jealousy," he said. He emphasized that Adhyaksa people must be able to harmonize their attitudes and behavior according to the norms and customs that exist in their respective working areas. "The simple attitude of Adhyaksa people will automatically build integrity as a law enforcer," he said. In addition, Asnawi also asked the ranks of the Prosecutor's Office to avoid certain places that could degrade the dignity and honor of the Prosecutor's Office. He reminded the ranks of the Prosecutor's Office in West Sumatra not to "play around" in carrying out their duties, let alone violate legal provisions. "The commitment from the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia is clear, if there are subordinates who violate the rules and regulations, they will be dealt with firmly and punished," he said.

On that occasion, Asnawi inaugurated six new heads of the Kejari, namely Kajari Padang, Bukittinggi, Dhamasraya, Sijunjung, Pesisr Selatan, and Tanah Datar. Kajari Padang is now held by Aliansyah, Kajari Bukittinggi Djamaluddin, and Kajari Dharmasraya Ariana Juliastuty, Kajari Sijunjung Rina Idawani, Kajari Pesisir Selatan Jafli and Kajari Tanah Datar Member T Pardede, The old Padang Kajari M Fatria will then serve as Head of the Sub-Directorate of Defense and Security of the Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence at the Indonesian Attorney General's Office.
