Democrats Submit Andika Hazrumi's Task Letter In The Serang Regional Head Election

SERANG - The Democratic Party gave a letter of assignment to Andika Hazrumy as a form of support for advancing in the regional head election (Pilkada) of Serang Regency in 2024.

"With his presence, it ensures the commitment of the Democratic party to jointly fight to win the 2024-2029 Serang Regency Pilkada," said the chairman of the Banten Democratic Party DPD, Iti Octavia Jayabaya, at the Democratic DPC Serang Regency after giving a letter of assignment, reported by ANTARA, Monday, June 3.

Iti admitted that she had instructed all cadres of the Democratic party, with the issuance of this assignment letter, the party engine had to go on to win Andika Hazrumy.

"Of course, the coalition is big in Serang Regency, so there are no opponents. And I think this is an empty box, if I have faced this empty box, so what I have faced is only buzzer attacks, but don't let it go," he said.

The reason the Democrats issued the letter of assignment and supported Andika was because the considerations could be seen from his performance during his tenure as deputy governor.

"As long as he has been deputy governor, his performance is also good, of course this is our consideration, and for the recommendation letter we will issue it if there is a deputy regent candidate," he said.

Meanwhile, the prospective regent of Serang, Andika Hazrumy, said that the Democrat party was the first party to provide a letter of assignment and declaration of support for him.

"I was given the trust by the Democratic Party and given a letter of assignment to become the regent of Serang," he said.

Andika hopes that the Democratic Party can continue to jointly oversee development in Serang Regency to be even more prosperous.

"I also didn't expect to fight the empty box. And maybe this is an appreciation from the community for the results I did while serving as deputy governor of Banten," he said.
