Riau Provincial Government Builds 288 Room Hotels In Jakarta, Rates For Their Rooms Are Like This

According to SF Hariyanto, the three-star hotel in Jakarta will become an icon of Riau, while the design for the construction of the Riau Hotel will feature a Malay nuance.

The construction of the Riau Hotel in the Slipi Jakarta area will be equipped with a ball room, meeting room or place of the event designed to accommodate as many as 800 people. Then equipped with 288 rooms in various classes.

"The existence of the Riau Hotel in the Slipi Jakarta area still prioritizes the social side in addition to commercial activities to become one of the sources of Riau Regional Original Revenue (PAD)," he said.

Meanwhile, according to the Head of Cipta Karya hotel construction plan, the Riau PUPR-PKPP Service, namely Thomas Larfo Dimiera, will adopt a Utilization Cooperation (KSP) system with a third party, namely the government involving third parties to build and manage businesses within a certain time according to the rules.

With the KSP pattern with third parties, it is hoped that it can utilize land as a power to make it more optimal to become one of the sources of Riau Regional Original Revenue (PAD).

"Following up on the KSP, the Riau Provincial Government involved the Public Appraisal Service Office (KJPP) in business calculations, and one of the articles governing the KSP issue, namely Article 1 point 21 of the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 17 of 2007, the period of cooperation in utilization is 30 years from the time the agreement is signed," he said.

Meanwhile, the laying of the first stone marked the start of the construction of the Riau Hotel was carried out by the Acting Governor of Riau in July 2024, or after the tender process was completed.
