PAN Officially Usung Khofifah-Emil Dardak In The East Java Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) officially carries Khofifah Indar Parawansa-Emil Dardak in the 2024 East Java Governor Election (Pilgub Jatim). The decision letter (SK) for support for Khofifah-Emil to run again in the East Java Pilkada was handed over directly by the General Chair of PAN, Zulkifli Hasan. Zulhas is optimistic that this incumbent pair can win and return to lead the East Java region. "Mrs. Khofifah, the Governor of East Java, God willing, will become governor again," said Zulhas after giving a decree of support to Khofifah-Emil in Jakarta, Monday, June 3. Zulhas revealed that from the beginning PAN had expressed support for Khofifah. In fact, he said, the support had been conveyed during the East Java PAN Coordination Meeting some time ago. “Why is it only now? Because from the start PAN has expressed support for Mrs. Khofifah, yesterday when the East Java PAN Coordination Meeting was conveyed whose representative is up to you. Today, because it is fixed, we will issue a decree, ” said Zulhas. "In addition, Mrs. Khofifah is also busy, we are also busy, and Mrs. Khofifah just asked for a decree if it wasn't one of the months ago, so we didn't spend it long," he continued. Zulhas assessed that Khofifah-Emil was able to continue to encourage progress in East Java. Moreover, personally, he has known Khofifah for a long time. “ We know very well how rapid the development of East Java is. We haven't just known each other for decades. I was a member of Mrs. Khofifah in 2004. I was a member of Commission VI, Mrs. Khofifah, chairman of Commission VI,” he explained. The Minister of Trade is also optimistic that Khofifah-Emil can work hard for the progress of East Java. He prayed that his duties as governor and deputy governor of East Java could be continued. “We all know that Mrs. Khofifah is always simple.
