JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government recorded 535 people who were expelled from the social assistance recipients (bansos) for the fulfillment of basic needs (PKD) in 2024.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Social Service, Premi Lasari, emphasized that hundreds of people who were crossed out from recipients of the Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), Jakarta Disability Card (KPDJ), and Jakarta Children's Card (KAJ) were deemed no longer eligible.

"Currently, we are still in the process of verifying and inventorying the data of the refutable documents. The data on recipients of social assistance who were confirmed to have been crossed out because they did not meet the requirements consisted of 498 KLJ, 34 KPDJ people, and 3 KAJ people," said Premi in his statement, Monday, June 3.

Premi said this happened after the cleaning and matching of the data for prospective recipients of the PKD social assistance.

In the first phase, the DKI Social Service Agency matched the data on prospective PKD social assistance recipients with integrated social welfare data (DTKS) with appropriate status in the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs system.

Second, match the data through the Ministry of Home Affairs' web service to get a death status and move outside DKI Jakarta Province.

Third, matching with data from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Revenue Agency (Bapenda) to find out ownership of assets, such as ownership of car vehicles and the selling value of tax objects (NJOP) above 1 billion rupiah.

Fourth, matching the data of social assistance residents (WBS) of social institutions. In determining the priority of the recipients of the social assistance, we also matched the data of prospective recipients with socio-economic registration data (regsosek) to obtain a welfare rating status in the form of deciles.

"After the entire data cleaning and matching process is complete, the recipients of the existing social assistance (desil 1-4) who are declared still feasible based on the results of the match are re-determined as recipients of social assistance," said Premi.

Meanwhile, the number of recipients of existing social assistance that was re-determined was 63,698 people, consisting of 53,709 KLJ recipients, 6,626 KPDJ recipients, and 3,363 KAJ recipients.

However, there are 972 prospective recipients of stage 1 social assistance who have not been declared eligible for assistance, consisting of 696 KLJ, 93 KPDJ, and 183 KAJ.

"This is because they are indicated not to meet the feasibility in the data matching of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, WBS social institutions, Bapenda, and the population web service of the Ministry of Home Affairs," added Premi.
