Minister Of Trade Appreciates Pertamina Patra Niaga For Fast Action To Supervise 3 Kg Gas SPBE

JAKARTA Not long ago the Ministry of Trade found fraud in filling 3 Kg LPG gas on SPBE a number of islands. To overcome this problem, Pertamina Patra Niaga moved quickly to carry out surveillance at the Elpiji Bulk Filling Station (SPBE) which filled 3 kilograms of LPG (kg).

The Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan gave his appreciation for the steps to supervise SPBE.

"Pertamina Patra Niaga also carries out more systematic and strict supervision, so there has been improvements here and there. Earlier I saw directly there (SPBE), the tube, when it was old (named iron), became stainless, and needed repair," said Zulkifli in his statement, Sunday, June 2.

"If it is not repaired and forced to continue to fill it, some have been deposited that cannot be used anymore, or the tube is rusty and the scales are reduced," he continued.

Zulkifli also appreciated the improvement of the SPBE in cleaning and repairing LPG cylinders before being refilled. So that the calculation of the contents of this LPG can be more accurate.

"If forced to continue, it can be detrimental to consumers. So such tubes must be refributed first, cleaned, and tarnished, which causes less scales to need to be pounded, so that the tube can be weighed 5 kg. After it's good, then it's used to fill, "he said.

On that basis, Zulkifli suggested to the public, especially the Cimahi SPBE area, West Java, to buy gas in this place. Because of the control of LGP gas, there is no cheating.

"I did go to the regions, if it's good I say it's good, but if it's bad I say it's bad. Not bad. Today, what is done here is good. Today, what is done here is good. So please people of Cimahi, if you buy gas here the scales are enough and good, then the tubes have also been repaired," he said.

Meanwhile, Pertamina Regional Marketing Director Patra Niaga Mars Ega Legowo Putra said this SPBE check is a good collaboration between all parties, including the Ministry of Trade. This is because the Pertamina team throughout Indonesia is also moving quickly to make improvements.

Not only that, his party has also coordinated with the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). This is an effort to follow up on monitoring the contents of the LPG tube at SPBE.
