Police Explain The Dangers Of Bullying Among Students

JAKARTA The rise of bullying that was held in various schools in a number of areas made the police, one of which was the Ambon Island Police, disseminated the dangers of bullying of hundreds of elementary school students in Ambon City, Maluku.

This activity aims to provide students with an understanding of the dangers of bullying, types of bullying, and criminal sanctions that can be imposed.

Kasat Binmas reminded students of the importance of mutual respect and creating a safe and comfortable school environment.

"He also emphasized that every student has the right to feel safe and respected at school and invites all students to be part of the solution in preventing bullying," he said.

Meanwhile, Aipda Orpha Jambormias as a speaker explained the meaning of bullying, its types, and criminal sanctions that could be imposed on the perpetrators.

This explanation was conveyed with the aim that students could recognize bullying behavior and know the legal consequences, and encourage them not to get involved in bullying and report cases in schools.

The socialization activity "Stop Bullying" held by the Ambon Police at SD Negeri 91 Waiheru not only received a positive response from students but also appreciation from the school.
