Collaborating With Personal Assistant To Become A Cawabup, Regent Herman Suherman Declares Forward To Cianjur Pilkada

CIANJUR - The pair of candidates for regent and deputy regent of Cianjur Herman Suherman and M Solih, declared themselves to run for the fight in the 2024 Cianjur Regency Regional Head Election (Pilkada), supported by five political parties that won the 2024 General Election.

The five political parties that carry the incumbent, the PDI-P, the Democratic Party, PKB, PPP, and PAN are complete with a decree from the Regional Leadership Council (DPD), the Regional Representative Council (DPW) to the Central Leadership Council (DPP).

The candidate for Regent of Cianjur in the 2024 Cianjur Pilkada, Herman Suherman, said that the declaration that had been held with the support of five political parties did not rule out the possibility of getting support from other parties that wanted to join.

"The declaration, which was officially held today, has obtained approval from the DPD/DPW to the DPP of each political party," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 30.

His declaration with M Solih, who is familiarly called Ibang, was carried out to answer public questions regarding his re-nomination in the 2024 Cianjur Pilkada, so that it was held several weeks before registration to the Cianjur KPU.

He chose Ibang as a representative for various reasons, including while serving as Regent of Cianjur, Ibang has accompanied himself as a personal assistant and received support from a number of political parties with the slogan "Cianjur Gold".

"Politics is flexible, today Ibang and I will run as candidate pairs who are ready to fight in the 2024 Cianjur Pilkada with the Golden Cianjur slogan, we also hope to get support from other political parties," said Herman.

In fact, according to him, it is possible that after the Herman-Ibang declaration there will be a declaration from other political parties that will support their candidacy.

"It is possible that our desire is a big coalition for the people of Cianjur, so we are promoted by all political parties that win the 2024 election in Cianjur," he said.
