To investigate the alleged malpractice case, his party has asked for information from 12 witnesses, including health workers from the Sindangbarang Health Center who allegedly caused the victim to die.
In fact, he said, his party had asked for expert witnesses from the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Cianjur, as well as two nurses who were in charge of providing treatment to victims at that time.
"The continuation of the legal process against the prosecution of the alleged malpractice depends on the results of the autopsy," he said.
The Cianjur Police summoned witnesses from the patient's family and the puskesmas regarding reports of alleged malpractice that befell residents of Sindangbarang District on behalf of Daffa Algifari Nugraha (10) to death.
The police have followed up on reports of alleged malpractice reported by the parents of victims of Syarifah Lawati (44) to the Cianjur Police by summoning 7 witnesses from the families of patients who died or the health center, the case is under further investigation.
Meanwhile, the Cianjur Health Office noted that the process of handling patients on behalf of Daffa Algifari Nugraha (10), a resident of Sindangbarang District at the Sindangbarang Health Center, who was suspected of having died from malpractice, was in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
Head of the Cianjur Health Office, Yusman Faisal, said that his party had deployed a joint team of doctors and nurses to conduct searches regarding the death of the patient who had undergone medical treatment at the puskesmas.
"Currently, the team has been dispatched to Sindangbarang to determine the cause of the death of the victim, we will announce the results later, but the report we received the handling provided is in accordance with the SOP," he said.
