JAKARTA - Investigators from the Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General's Office examined the Governor of the Bangka Belitung Islands for the 2017 '2022 period Erzaldi Rosman Djohan (ERD) as a witness in the investigation into the alleged corruption case of tin commodity trading in the PT Timah Tbk IUP area.

The other three witnesses examined were HT as Director of CV Maria Kita as Partner of IUJP PT Timah Tbk, PSP as Deputy Director of CV Mineral Jaya Utama (Mitra IUJP PT Timah Tbk), and HS as Director of CV Jaya Mandiri (Mitra IUJP PT Timah Tbk).

"The witness examination was carried out to strengthen the evidence and complete the filing in the case," said Ketut.

The four witnesses were examined in connection with the suspect Tamron Tamsil alias Aon (TN) as the beneficial owner or owner of the benefits of CV Venus Inti Perkasa (VIP). TN is one of 21 suspects in corruption in tin trading system which cost the state finances up to Rp271 trillion due to damage to the environment.

Until now, investigators have blocked 66 accounts, confiscated 187 plots of land or buildings, and confiscated cash, 55 units of heavy equipment and 16 units of cars from the suspects.
