DPRD Reminds Minimarket Wild Jukir Job Training Not Only To Become A Formality

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government plans to facilitate job training for minimarket illegal parking attendants who are disciplined to change professions.

Chairman of Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Mujiyono, reminded that the job coach's offer is not only limited to formality.

"In my opinion, the provincial government's plan to provide training is good. But it must be underlined that the training provided must be really applicative and immediately practiced in actual situations and conditions," said Mujiyono in his statement, Monday, May 27.

According to the member of the Democratic Faction of the DKI DPRD, formality training in the end only causes new problems. Because, it is feared that the Jukirs could not apply these skills in their daily lives.

"Don't just provide formality training and it turns out that they cannot be applied to make a living for the families of the Jukir," said Mujiyono.

In addition, the DKI Provincial Government was also asked to profile the Jukir who were given training. Thus, the knowledge received will be in line with their talents.

"It must be profiling, for example there is Jukir who can work as a security guard, so it is necessary to be given training and channeled into security officers either in government or private offices," he explained.

Joint officers from the DKI Transportation Agency, DKI Satpol PP, and the TNI-Polri are controlling illegal parking attendants in minimarkets for the next month since Wednesday, May 15. After being put in order, they will be given job training.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, hopes that the illegal minimarket jukir can find their respective work skills.

However, Syafrin did not want all the illegal jukir who were put in order to return to being a parking attendant because of the limited number of personnel needed.

"I hope not all of them declare their passion for illegal parking attendants, because we prepare training for them not as parking attendants," he said.

During the inspection of controlling the illegal minimarket jukir, the joint team will ask the illegal jukir to be asked to no longer collect parking rates from people who come to minimarkets.

The illegal jukir that was brought under control by the joint team was operating in minimarkets in separate buildings. Meanwhile, minimarkets located in one commercial area do not become locations for control because they have been integrated with the parking management of the DKI Transportation Agency.

Syafrin said that efforts to control illegal jukir in Jakarta minimarkets in the next month have not been accompanied by sanctions.

"The next 1 month action starting on the 15th is that the pattern is persuasive humanist. This means that what we are doing is in the form of coaching and then educating illegal parking attendants," explained Syafrin.

Then, if there are still wild jukir who are stubborn in raising parking rates to buyers of minimarkets after being raided, they will be punished with light crimes and fines.
