Arrested By Soldiers, Israeli Illegal Settlers Again Attack Palestinians

JAKARTA - Israeli illegal protesters attacked Palestinian homes in Qusra Village, Nablus City in the southern part of the northern West Bank. The attack was carried out with the help or 'background' of the Israeli army.

Palestinian news agency WAFA, Sunday, May 26, reported that city residents rushed to dispel the attack, which led to clashes with occupational soldiers and settlers.

During this time, Israeli occupation soldiers were reported to have used live ammunition.

Palestinian Red Crescent Society (Palestinian Red Crescent Society/PRCS) said it was treating a 29-year-old man who was injured in a battle in Qusra and took him to hospital.

It is not clear whether the bullet that hit the victim was fired by illegal Israeli settlers or soldiers.

In the southern West Bank, an anti-residential activist Arif Jaber told Anadolu that Israeli soldiers were strengthening troops in the Palestinian territories, in the areas they control the city.

"The occupation forces spread widely in the Jaber and Wadi al-Hussein areas around the old city of Hebron, and arrested at least five residents," he said.
