JAKARTA - Ganjar Pranowo said PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri asked her cadres to prepare to face the 2024 simultaneous regional elections.

This was conveyed by Ganjar when asked about Megawati's direction which was given to be closed during the PDIP National Working Meeting on Saturday, May 25, 2024. He said the fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia discussed more about regional head elections.

"How can we always be with the people in more grounded, more concrete, especially those currently still in the DPRD, and then still in the regional head, I think that's much more important," he said.
