Indonesia Leads WWF Meeting, AHY Please Produce World Water Problem Solutions

BALI- Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) revealed that the World Water Forum 10th in Bali could produce ideas and solutions to address water problems globally. "We attended the opening ceremony (opening ceremony) of the 10th World Water Forum in Bali in 2024, hopefully successful and could produce ideas," AHY told reporters, at the Bali International Convention Center (BICC), Nusa Dua, Bali, quoted from ANTARA, Monday, May 20.AHY also hopes that the international forum can produce solutions to address the global water problem.AHY attended the opening ceremony of the 10th World Water Forum Bali on foot.Registering the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, among others the Special Staff for Cooperation at the Ministry of ATR/BPN Si Made Rai Edi Astawa, Special Staff for Internal Management of the Ministry of ATR/BPN Agust Jovan Latuconsina, Experts for Public Relations and Public Communications at the Ministry of ATR/BPN Herzaky Mahendra Putra, as well as high ranks of the Ministry of ATR/Head of BPN. In this meeting, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) led the World Water Forum 10 at the Bali International Convention Center (BICC), Nusa Dua, Bali, Monday, May 20. President Jokowi first welcomed the heads of state present at around 08.30 WITA, then jointly attended the opening ceremony at Mangapura Hall BIC at 08.55 WITA.

The world leaders who will attend the High Level Meeting (HLM) include Prime Minister (PM) Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda, Sri Langka President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Fiji President Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, and Deputy Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea John Rosso. The meeting will also be attended by World Water Council (WWC) President Lowiac Fauchon, President of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly Dennis Francis, former Hungarian President Janos Ader, French special envoy Barbara Pompili, and Dutch special envoy Meike van Ginneken.
