Golkar-PKS Sindir Chairman Of The DKI DPRD Does Not Want To Give Up Beer Shares: He Is Not Only He Who Has The Right

JAKARTA - The Golkar faction and PKS DPRD DKI said they agreed with the wishes of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, who proposed the sale of shares of beer in PT Delta Djakarta Tbk.

Unfortunately, the proposed release of PT Delta's beer shares amounting to 26.25 has not yet been approved because it is hampered by the blessing of DKI DPRD Chairman Prasetyo Edi Marsudi.

The head of the Golkar faction at the DPRD DKI Basri Baco insinuated Prasetyo as its leader in the Kebon Sirih parliament. According to Baco, Prasetyo should not make his personal opinion into the DPRD decision.

"The DPRD does not belong to the leadership of the council but belongs to all council members in DKI Jakarta. If there are parties or leaders who refuse to sell (beer shares) privately, they have no right to refuse," said Baco in a virtual discussion, Wednesday, March 10.

According to Baco, the government can sell shareholdings in regional companies after obtaining the approval of all members of the DKI DPRD. The DPRD should have held a meeting first to ask for responses from all factions, before approving or rejecting it.

"But don't we or someone who claims to be the leader keep stating that as long as he is there, he will not sell. It is not (only) he has the right, but the DPRD collectively collegially has the right to release or retain," said Baco.

In fact, Baco accused the leadership of the DPRD that there was a stock game against the sale of the beer shares.

"There should not be a game of the stock mafia, so that someone will buy it cheaply. Or don't let the sale process have shrimp behind a stone. There are people who control with other interests by making our shields," he said.

Continuing, Member of the PKS DPRD DKI Faction Abdul Aziz emphasized that Anies was better off selling the share ownership of PT Delta beer. DPRD, he said, must have solidarity to be able to sell the shares.

"There should be no claim from a person or groups of people acting on their behalf as the board to make decisions personally. This is against the rules," said Aziz.

Previously, DKI DPRD Chairman Prasetyo Edi Marsudi questioned the reason the DKI Provincial Government wants to sell shares of the liquor production company PT Delta. He needed a rational reason in giving the license to release these shares.

According to Prasetyo, there will be no financial loss if the DKI Pemprov owns shares in PT Delta. In fact, DKI has received income from share ownership gains received since the days of DKI Governor Ali Sadikin.

"The report I received from PT Delta has contributed dividends to the Regional Wealth Management component which is separated in the 2019 Regional Budget for DKI Jakarta amounting to Rp100.4 billion. This position is the second largest contributor to dividends to DKI Jakarta after PT Bank DKI amounting to Rp240 billion," he said. Prasetyo.

He also asked Anies to provide an explanation regarding the impact of the release of the beer shares. "An analysis is needed from a comprehensive study of the divestment plan of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's ownership in PT Delta Djakarta TBK," he said.
